The Belgian Group for Primatology was created to encourage all areas of non-human primatological scientific research, to facilitate cooperation among students and scientists engaged in primate research, and to promote the conservation of all primate species.
The Group is a member of the European Federation for Primatology.
This web site aims to promote the discovery, exchange and diffusion of information regarding non-human primates.

The BGP organizes joint meetings with the FNRS contact group ‘Primatology’. The access is free and open to everyone interested in primatology. It is either focused on eminent invited speakers or it is devoted to a workshop to gather different research teams together to highlight one specific topic. It give the possibility to Bac/ Master/ PhD/ Postdoc students and researchers to present their ongoing work and develop their perspectives.
